Asteroid Types

Asteroids are one of the fundamental (and easiest) ways to obtain new resources, which in turn are used to manufacture new components that can be used to produces ships, weapons, computers, technologies, and even entire stations.

Below are the various types of Asteroids encountered in Dry Empire, along with their typical composition.

CINNIBAR ASTEROID
Locations:
Found isolated as well as in clusters alongside Varis, Chabaz, Lukrah and Dolom asteroids. Clusters often form in groups, forming large fields of asteroids.
Typical Composition:
2% Lava
11% Zercaner Ore Raw
10.5% Bastyn Shard Raw
76.5% Cinnibar

LUKRAH ASTEROID
Locations:
Found in clusters alongside Cinnibar, Chabaz, Varis and Dolom asteroids. Clusters often form in groups, forming large fields of asteroids.
Typical Composition:
5% Bastyn Shard Raw
7% Fertikeen Ore Raw
41% Red Dirt 
47% Lukrah 

CHABAZ ASTEROID
Locations:
Found in clusters alongside Cinnibar, Lukrah, Varis and Dolom asteroids. Clusters often form in groups, forming large fields of asteroids.
Typical Composition:
3% Ice
7% Parsen Shard Raw
10% Parstun Ore Raw 
80% Chabaz

VARIS ASTEROID
Locations:
Found in clusters alongside Cinnibar, Chabaz, Lukrah and Dolom asteroids. Clusters often form in groups, forming large fields of asteroids.

Typical Composition:
3%  Lava
4% Sand
5% Nocx Shard Raw
5% Nacht Ore Raw
83% Varis

DOLOM ASTEROID
Locations:
Found in clusters alongside Cinnibar, Chabaz, Varis and Lukrah asteroids. Clusters often form in groups, forming large fields of asteroids.
Typical Composition:
9% Hital Ore Raw
14% Hattel Shard Raw
22% Ice
55% Dolom

LARIMAR ASTEROID
Locations:
Only two of these asteroids have been found to date.  They were both isolated and floating within the Oort region between stars, with no other asteroids within scanner range for many sectors.

SUGIL ASTEROID
Locations:
Found in closer orbit to the star, in groups alongside Lukrah and when closer again to the star in groups with Tekt asteroids.

77.7% Sugil

TEKT ASTEROID
Locations:
Found in very close orbit to the star, in groups alongside Sugil asteroids, and occasionally in isolation.
Typical Composition:
