Escape Pods (ESC)
Small craft attached to a larger craft used to save crews in the event of the larger craft being abandoned.

ESC Thor Class
Self-detonating bolted hatch, shielded with double-axis thrusters.
6 passengers

Logistics and Cargo
Vessels, containers, and machinery associated with cargo, shipping, and logistics.

Cargo and Shipping Containers
Modular containers capable of being filled with a range of materials, stacked or packed into cargo vessels or storage areas, and moved about in a convenient and efficient manner as a unit.

Cargo Pod
A small 3x2x3m cargo container that is usually associated with smaller deliveries, such as computer equipment, personal shipping (furniture, personal goods, etc), and other smaller personal or commercial goods.  Contains a single storage box and can be docked.  Currently available in Cinnabar Red.

Shipping Container
A larger 17x7x7m standardised cargo container designed to be packed with large quantities of commercial or industrial goods.  Armoured with a light shield to protect the cargo from small damage risk (light pirate fire or asteroid impact). Roller doors at both ends and internal lighting, shipping containers can be docked and stacked on top of each other.  Their standardized dimensions make it a lot easier to build vessels, facilities, and machinery capable of accommodating them.  Available in a range of painted finishes.
1592(+44s/sec) shield

INDUSTRIAL VESSELS
Salvagers (SVG)
Vessels used to convert materials such as asteroids and derelicts into digital matter signatures.
SVG Speeder
Small 4xTurret salvage ship.

SVG Excavator
Medium shielded salvage ship with no offensive capacity.

Work Drone Utilities (WDU)
Autonomous robotic workers useful for a range of tasks.

WDU Work Drone Utility Mk 1
Small robotic worker that assists with manufacturing and repair tasks.

MILITARY VESSELS
Scouts (SCT)
Scouts are usually cheap, small craft that are useful for reconnaissance missions with some battle risk, with a focus on speed, maneuverability and sensors more than on defense or offense.

SCT Gustav
Small armored battle-scout
Dual AMC, no shields

Fighters (FTR)
A small, lightly armored or shielded boat designed to operate alone or in groups to overpower smaller craft or tackle strategic or tactical targets during combat operations.  Often ships of choice to be converted to be used in civilian security forces.
No contacts to date.

Bombers (BOM)
Bombers are generally equipped with larger, slower weapons that are designed to do more damage to slower (and often larger) targets.  Bombers are usually out-gunned and out-manuevered by fighters, but can be a big threat to installations and larger vessels such as frigates.
No contacts to date.

Corvettes (CRV)
Corvettes are useful for out-performing large numbers of fighters and smaller craft, but are generally weak against larger vessels like Destroyers and Frigates.

CRV Alannis
Small 5xTurret corvette

CRV Seeth
32x11x21m turretless 4x152.5dps rapid-fire AMC corvette (tot. 610dps)
112,149.7(+9544e/sec) power
5,345(+77s/sec) shield

Frigates (FRG)
The work-horse of most larger fleets, frigates are equipped with powerful weapons and shields and can be a significant threat to any installation.

FRG Thor
Small missile and rocket frigate

Destroyers (DES)
Destroyers are larger ships that have a heavy focus on weapons, usually at the expense of manueverability and shields.  Destroyers are a significant threat to all smaller vessels.
No contacts to date.

Cruisers (CRS)
Cruisers are designed to operate more within a fleet than independantly, and offer support for smaller craft such as fighters, bombers, and even corvettes with hangar and repair services, and often introduce EMP and other support to a fleet.  They usually sport impressive weaponry, but less-so for their overall size than a destroyer for example.
No contacts to date.

Battleships (BTS)
Battleships are large and formidable vessels sporting both great fire-power as well as great defensive systems, and are often used as pivotal assets to occupy space of strategic value.  Battleships are not to be taken lightly.
No contacts to date.

STATIONS
Hub Stations (HUB)
Hub stations are core stations in a sytem, sector, or area, and usually represent a form of town or city.  They often have naval creation, maintenance and repair facilities, civilian facilities, recreational, industrial, residential and commercial operations, trade and infrastructure, and are usually very well defended.

Dry Station
Currently the heart of Dry Empire, Dry Station sports a frigate-sized shipyard, deep space scanner, library, basic factory, matter signature storage facility, 6x racked WDU's, a power and shield generator, and docking arms assigned to various vessels permanently assigned to the station.

Mining Outposts (MOP)
Mining outposts are small and usually defenseless stations located strategically to harvest local resources to feed to industrial centers using transport vessels.  They are usually small, inexpensive, and by themselves represent little strategic value.

Sarafrey Station
A small mining outpost located near the heart of the sector, Sarafrey harvests mainly Tekt and Sugil asteroids.  It has a three man habitation facility, single framework hangar, 1x docked WDU, drone control wing, and flashing installation lights and beacon.

Refineries (REF)
Refineries convert raw minerals into Capsules by compressing and encapsulating matter signatures into a format that factories are readily able to inject into combination patterns. Refineries can be a range of sizes and have a diverse set of peripheral systems, but they all convert raw shards and minerals into capsules as a primary function.

Fieldberg Station (defenseless version)
A medium-sized fully-automated refinery (240 refinery blocks) that inputs and outputs directly to and from the loading docks, with no further activation needed by a player.  Includes a single framework hangar, a double micro-shuttle bay, loading docks and crane, 6 man crew facility (two sections), 8x Pisces Class triple 3x3x3 generators, 2 large energy storage towers, a control tower and radio room, airlocks, and full blinking station lights and beacons.

This civilian version has no defenses except a medium shield generator dome.

ORDINANCE
Missiles (MSL)
Missiles are self-propelled craft with explosive capability designed to be launched towards enemy assets, causing damage by exploding on contact or in close proximity.

Samsonite Cruise Missile Mk 1
Experimental 2t Warhead, rapid acceleration, impact detonation.

Mines (MIN)
Mines are stationary or very limited movement ordinance positioned defensively in tactical locations in space usually in large numbers, designed to hinder enemy movement.
No contacts to date.
